Your Instagram account can be one of three options:
Personal
Creator
Business
To determine what type of account you have, follow the steps below.
Step 1:
Open the Instagram mobile app and navigate to Settings and Privacy section.
Step 2:
Scroll to For professionals and click Account type and tools to see what options Instagram offers you.
These options will tell you what account type you have:
If you see the “Switch to Professional account” option, you have a Personal account.
If after clicking “Switch account type”, you have the “Switch to personal account” and “Switch to business account” options, then your account type is Creator.
If you have a Business profile, you will be offered the “Switch to personal account” and “Switch to creator account” options.
