1. Associate Availability in iOS App

When you begin your shift, you should open the iOS Associate App and toggle your Availability Status to I'm Available. This will allow you to receive push notifications to your device when a new customer joins the queue. This Availability Status will also be displayed in the Admin Dashboard so that your manager or team lead can have optics on when you're available for live calls and when you are not.

2. Associate Push Notifications

When you update your iOS app to GhostRetail v.1.1.15, you will be prompted for notification permissions when you visit the Associate Dashboard. These will need to be allowed to receive push notifications when a new guest joins the queue.

Once you are set to I'm Available and have accepted notification permissions, you will receive a push notification every time a new guest joins the queue. It is important to remember to set your Availability to Unavailable after your shift so that you don't receive any incoming push notifications.

You will not receive a push notification if you are actively in a live call or if you are set to Unavailable. Make sure that you set your availability when you start your shift so that you receive notifications for any incoming customers!

Once your availability is set to I'm Available, you will receive push notifications if you're in the app, have the app backgrounded, or even close the app.

Notifications can be turned off at anytime in your iPhone settings.

You will not receive push notifications if your phone is set to Focus Status or Do Not Disturb mode, so please make sure that this isn’t the case when you’re starting your shift.
